[edit] Championships
The Tavistock Royals were WOAA Sr. "AA" Champions in the 1994-95 season, which is their only title in team history.
[edit] 2006-07 Royals Season
Tavistock had another very strong season, finishing with an 18-6-0 record, which placed them in 3rd place in the South Division, and a playoff matchup with the Shelburne Muskies in the "AA" quarter-finals.
The Royals would start off quick and win the first 2 games, however Shelburne came back and won 3 in a row to put Tavistock on the brink of elimination. The Royals would come back and win the final 2 games of the series to win it 4-3.
Tavistock would then face the South Division winning Clinton Radars in the "AA" semi-finals, and would drop the first game 6-4 to go down 1-0 in the series. The Royals would rebound, and win the next 2 in overtime. Game 4 would be another close one, as the Royals held off the Radars 3-2 to take a 3-1 series lead. Tavistock would then eliminate Clinton in game 5 with a 5-4 victory, and advance to the "AA" finals.
The Royals are currently facing the Elora Rocks for the "AA" Championship.
