Star Wars Republic: The New Face of War is a two-part story arc in the Star Wars: Republic series of comic books written by Haden Blackman. The first issue was published on 19 March 2003 by Dark Horse Comics. The series is set in the Star Wars galaxy during the Clone Wars shortly after the events in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and 22 years before the Battle of Yavin in Episode IV: A New Hope
