The End Of The Snowstorm (Japanese: 吹雪の果て, - Fubuki no hate) is the fifteenth episode of the anime series D.Gray-man.

Back at Headquarters, Lenalee wakes up to see a relieved Komui. She murmurs that it is same like last time and asks about Allen. Her brother answers that he is currently on a mission. Meanwhile, Allen regains consciousness to find himself being carried piggyback-style by Lavi. Embarrassed, Allen insists that he can walk on his own but ends up falling to the ground. Discovering a nearby cabin, the group decides to rest. A concerned Elda informs Allen that he has a fever, but he claims that he is fine. Noticing Kanda in the room, Allen wonders what happen to Michael so Kanda replies that he left the Finder who should his own way back here. The former is about to confront Kanda for his coldness, but luckily, Michael arrives. After he tells everyone that the Akuma is not around the area, Kanda decides to continue the search for the Innocence. Everyone else wants to go as well, but in the end, only Kanda and Lavi leave while the rest stay behind.

As the two exorcists are walking, they are spotted by the three Akuma who decide to follow them to the Innocence's location. While that is happening, Allen is trying to convince Elda's father that the Innocence cannot revive his son, but the old man refuses to listen. Elda, however, persuades them to go to sleep. Waking up from a dream in which she stops her father from saving her little brother, the girl finds out that her father has left in the middle of the night. Allen and Michael want to look for him and tells Elda to stay behind. She refuses, saying she regrets stopping her father from saving Jacob and does not want to repeat it again. Understanding what she says, Allen relents and then sends Timcanpy out to scout the area.

Kanda and Lavi finally find the Innocence's location but the winter storm is hindering them. Lavi uses Tenchi Bankai: Moku Ban (Roots Entwining Heaven and Earth: Wood Seal) to repels it, and the two exorcists proceed to enter the cave. In the middle of the cave, they discover a tree with glowing leaves. When Kanda attempts to reach the tree, a strong wind repels him. Suddenly, Elda's father, who has been following the two exorcists, appears and run over to the tree. He also is flung away by the strong wind. Annoyed by what is happening, Kanda uses his katana to cut the tree down and retrieve the Innocence. Seeing this, Elda's father demands that they give him the Innocence so he can revive his son. However, Kanda informs him that this is not the Leaf of Revival but an Innocence, which cannot bring back the dead. Lavi theorizes that the Innocence causes the leaves to glow, hence, causing the myth. In order to protect itself from those who attempt to get its leaves, the Innocence creates a snowstorm.

Walking out of the cave, the three are attacked by the Akuma who demands that they hand over the Innocence. Refusing, Kanda and Lavi immediately start their counterattack. Seeing her comrades easily beaten, the female Akuma absorbs them to become more powerful. During the middle of the battle, Elda's father grabs Kanda from behind and demands that he gives him the Innocence. Seizing this opportunity, the Akuma freezes their feet. Luckily, Allen arrives just in time. He attacks the Akuma and frees his colleagues by shooting at the ice. The three exorcists work together and destroy the Akuma once and for all.

After the battle, Elda's father finally pleads for the Innocence because he wants to go back to the way it was in the past. Elda apologizes again for her father's behavior; she claims that he would not act that way if she has not stopped him from saving her brother. Even though she knows that the Leaf of Revival does not exist, she does not wish to see her father in pain again. Upon hearing this, Allen admonishes her father, saying that he should be saving Elda instead. While he was searching for the Leaf, he ignores his own daugther. Elda quickly replies that she does not mind at all, but her father hugs her, realizing how wrong he was. With that, they decide to go home.

Unbeknownst to them, Skin is about to attack them, but Road appears. She demands Lero back because she is bored without it. She also informs him that the Earl has work for them to do. With that, the two Noahs leave. At the train station, Allen warns Elda and her father about the Millennium Earl. He tells them not to give into the Earl's temptation, which the father promises that they won't. They bid each other farewell and the exorcists leave on the train. Talking about what happened, Allen assures Lavi that he will destroy Elda's father should he ever becomes an Akuma. After some hours have passed, Bookman asks Lavi his opinion of Allen. Finished drawing on the boy and the Finder's faces, Lavi answers that he believes that the Destroyer of Time's fight will be painful from now on.
