The Ferret

The Ferret is a consumer affairs television programme broadcast on HTV Wales since 1996. It is one of the channel's flagship series, alongside Wales Tonight and Wales This Week.
The programme is hosted by Chris Segar, although there have been many other presenters alongside him over the years. Each edition is typically 30 minutes in length and features investigations into various cases involving consumers' poor experiences with traders and retailers. Many, but not all of the cases, result in success. Similar programmes include BBC Wales's X-Ray and BBC One's Watchdog.
