The James Young High School

The James Young High School is a secondary level school, in Dedridge, Livingston, Scotland. The School opened in 1982.[citation needed]
The feeder primary schools are Bankton Primary, Bellsquarry Primary, Dedridge Primary, Peel Primary and Williamston Primary.[citation needed]
James Young has over 2000 pupils and has different sexes in it. At the moment the former Head teacher is Mr Christophor A Horn (2007). It has been put in to many competitions. The James Young High School is set for refurbishment in the next few years
[edit] HMIE Inspection
In 2005, HMIE undertook an inspection of the school.[1] The inspection found that the school's pastoral care, partnership with parents and vocational guidance were all of very high quality and that the school had devel oped a "culture of continuous improvement". It identified weaknesses in accommodation and facilities as areas in need of attention.
