The Pyramid Game
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Pyramid Game was a game show shown on ITV in two periods from 1980-1982 which was produced by LWT and 1989-1991 produced by Television South.
The game was originally a piece of the flop Bruce Forsyth's extravagant Big Night shown on Saturday's nights. When the variety show was axed after one series, this broke off all ties and was revived on an early evening slot on Friday nights.
The Pyramid Game was hosted by Steve Jones. The Pyramid was constructed by each block filled of money, which could be won, if questions were answered correctly.
As of 2007, the UK station Challenge, have plans to stage a third revival of the game to be hosted by former Osmond, Donny Osmond, who has still retained his popularity here.
