Thanks for uploading Image:Jr-copy-for-wiki.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

- Did you get explicit permission from the Highlands Study Center to upload that photo? Are you the creator of the image? If so, why is no higher res version available? If not, did the creator of the photo explicitly release it under GFDL? The image may be deleted if it is not properly tagged. --Flex (talk|contribs) 19:45, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

- I am the director of Marketing and Media for the Highlands Study Center. I make the decisions to use or not to use any photograph owned by HSC, therefore I gave myself permission to use it. I did not post a higher resolution photo because I chose not to. Actually, the original photo used is also copyrighted by HSC, yet I chose not to contest why someone pulled that from our website to use here. I merely changed it (when I found the time) to a more recent photo of R.C. to bring this page up to date. The Dante 03:25, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ok. If the old photo is not available under a suitable license, it should rightly be removed (there is more image policing done now, and it may have been removed anyway eventually).
