[edit] Advert tag?
Removing the "reads like an ad" tag but leaving the cleanup tag. I don't see the reason for the advert tag.
[edit] Cleanup suggestion(s)
For starters (no pun), the article should begin with a sentence/paragraph stating exactly who he is. Am I correct in figuring out from the rest of the article that he is a current member of the Connecticut State Senate? Since I'm not really sure, I'll leave it to the author or someone else who's sure. It should also say whether he's Democratic or Republican. --Shyland 18:27, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
...On second thought, I'm leaving the advert tag. It doesn't read like an advertisement, exactly; more like a resume, but there's no tag for that. :) A resume, after all, is a self-advertisement. Some of the employment history and achievements/awards details nobody but the Senator could possibly know or care about should probably go. Leave a couple of the main ones; lose the rest. --Shyland 18:34, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Update: I've taken a stab at editing the article but it still needs work. --Shyland 18:57, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
