Tied and True is the fourth album by The Detroit Cobras, released 24 April 2007 (see 2007 in music). Led by singer Rachel Nagy, The Cobras had a distinctive Detroit rock sound as they influenced by Motown, soul music and '50s rock & roll. The Detroit Cobras are a cover band but not one by traditional standards. They take old rarities and B-Sides from obscure, slightly obscure, and, sometimes, well known artists from the fifties and sixties and breath new life into them.
