When did Pamela Anderson will the Oscar? That should be on the timeline. --Carl 00:43, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Unfortunately the year is never mentioned. Rory 11:01, Oct 29, 2004 (UTC)

When was the governor (mayor?) of New York a maniac who moved all the world's monuments there? --Carl 04:03, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Someone forgot when Fry was unfrozen. Spaceboy~ 05:15, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

2200s - Civilization is blasted back into medieval times, yet by 2275 it's capable of producing robots again? I think that might be incorrect. - Anon

The time line states that the previous crew of the Planet Express are "killed by space bees, eaten by a space wasp." I realize in the pilot that the envelope the Prof. holds states "contents of space wasp's stomach", however they later explained it in depth as space bees. So shouldn't the entry just state "killed by space bees" and chock this all up to a slight inconsistency? Kwyjibear 06:36, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Second Coming of Jesus

I was going to include some information on this, but was struck by a question: Should the information that can be gleaned on this subject from Futurama comics be mentioned? Or is this article solely on the television show?

If it should be included here is some of the available information: Comic-book six shows a nativity scene with a female robot kneeling in front of a crib and an octopus with a shepherd's staff. In a play (The story of Xmas) in the same book Zoidberg plays Ebenezer Omicronian, one of the two wise Omicronians who come to witness the birth of Zombie Jesus. He is also visited by six ghosts who foretell the coming, including the ghost of President Richard Nixon's head. He also has a love scene with Leela, whose stage costume includes large amounts of chains and locks. Amy is also shown several times, including during the play (though not on stage), dressed as Mom. Hermes is also shown several times in a top hat and underpants, although his role is somewhat unclear (his character tells Ebenezer of the ghosts, though). Bender is supposed to play "the Monolith", but does not participate. The grand finale of the play is evidently the Professor running out on stage nude, although the play is part of community service for his recent reckless public indecency and he may have added this part himself. --anon

But is it 2043 or 2443? I'm confused. I could conceivably hang around to see the first one!

[edit] Improving

Doesn't this need a little cleaning up? It's sort of hard to look at since there is all these bullet points but no pictures. If you like it the ways it is, then sorry. This is only a suggestion.

Go Futurama! Sp3000 21:30, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Why don't the the entries also show the episodes they were mentioned in?

Yes, in line citations for every event should be added. Be Bold and get started on that. Stardust8212 15:29, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
I definitely will! But since I'm totally new to Wikipedia (contributing-wise), is there a format that is typically followed for such citations? Shaktimaan 19:03, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Take a look at WP:REF and/or look at Planet Express Ship and List of Futurama products for examples for references. --WillMak050389 20:47, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Medium Sized Bang

When was the Big Bang referred to as such? I'm quite familiar with all the episodes, and I've never heard of that... Tiberius47 06:12, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure it was in "The Day the Earth Stood Stupid" though it may have been "The Why of Fry". I know that is how the nibblonians referred to it, some thing along the lines of "our species existed 14 years before the medium sized bang" Stardust8212 16:08, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
I just reviewed that scene. "The Day the earth Sttod Stupid", timecode 10:55 into the episode... "Behold. When the universed was forged in the crucible of the Big Bang, our mighty race was already seventeen years old." Although Medium Sized bang is funnier....--Tiberius47 03:39, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Makes me wonder if someone has accidentally inserted a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy joke into the Futurama timeline... I'm pretty sure that book is what actually refers to it as the medium-sized bang (later scientists over estimated it), I just assumed it was also in this show since it was in the article but I was definitely thinking of the line you just quoted. I gotta buy the rest of the DVDs... Stardust8212 04:18, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Seymour Story

I was watching this episode again and an interesting thought came to my mind.. Seymour lived 12 more years after Fry disappeared. However, since Fry disappeared on 1st Jan, it's ambiguous (at least for me) whether Seymour eventually died in 2011 or 2012. The Professor mentions in the episode that the dog was fast fossilised (or something like that) meaning probably something very bad happened right after Seymour died. Maybe this was a (very) subtle reference to all those apocalyptic prophesies about 2012?! Shaktimaan 22:45, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
