Tobias Angerer (born April 12, 1977 in Traunstein) is a German cross country skier, and skies with the SC Vachendorf club. He has been competing since 1996.

At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, he won a bronze medal in the 15 km classical interval start event and a silver medal in the 4 x 10 km.

Angerer who goes by the name Toby rather than Tobias currently leads the FIS World Cup standings, beating Norwegians Tor Arne Hetland and Jens Arne Svartedal who are second and third by 237 and 268 points respectively. Angerer also leads the distance standings, 287 points ahead on Frenchman Vincent Vittoz. However he does only rank 44th in the sprint standings, 550 points behind sprint leader Björn Lind.

Angerer has three medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, with two silvers (4 x 10 km: 2005, 15 km + 15 km double pursuit: 2007) and one bronze (15 km: 2007). Angerer has six World Cup victories, three of which were in 2 x 15 km double pursuit, two in 30 km, and one in 15 km classic. He also has one second place. He has finished the last two seasons in fourth place.

In 2007 Angerer became the first winner of Tour de Ski men's event, winning by 46.4 seconds over Russia's Alexander Legkov (Finland's Virpi Kuitunen won the women's event.). He also won the overall 2006-07 Cross-Country Skiing World Cup.
