Tom Kemp was born in England and currently plays for Nationwide Conference side Grays Athletic where he plays in defence.
Kemp was one of eight former MASE scholars to pen a one-year deal with Lincoln City in the summer, having joined the Club from Derby County at the end of his first scholarship year.
First year professional Kemp was sent out loan to Tamworth in August 2006. His loan was extended until 11 November 2006. This enabled him to play in the FA Cup against Burton Albion in Tamworth historical 2-1 over their local rivals.
Following his return to Lincoln City, Kemp's contract was cancelled by mutual consent. Kemp then rejoined Tamworth on 15 December 2006[1].
It has also been reported that Steve Bruce has shown interest in Kemp and handed him a trial for Birmingham City at the start of December. Kemp has also been watched by Portsmouth, Derby County and Sheffield United[2].
On 1st March Grays Athletic announced the signing of Kemp from Conference rivals Tamworth - but the Lambs plan to hold on to the player's registration[3].
