Tsim Sha Tsui (Chinese: 尖沙咀, Jyutping: Zim1 Sa1 Zeoi2, Pinyin: Jiānshāzuǐ) is an MTR station on the Tsuen Wan Line. The station, originally opened in 1979 on the Kwun Tong Line, serves the area of Tsim Sha Tsui. About 500,000 passengers (including those who use single-journey tickets and Octopus cards) use this station daily.
East Tsim Sha Tsui Station on the KCR East Rail, opened on 24 October 2004, is connected to this MTR station. The station now serves as the interchange station between the East Rail, and was once planned to be the future interchange to the once-proposed Canton Road Station of the Kowloon Southern Link - an extension of the KCR West Rail.

[edit] Entrances/exits
Tsim Sha Tsui Station is linked with East Tsim Sha Tsui KCR Station through the Mody Road and Middle Road Subways. When both stations' exits are combined, the total number of exits outnumber even that of Central. East Tsim Sha Tsui Station has the honor of having the exit with the highest letter of all rail stations in Hong Kong!

[edit] Star Ferry (Exit E)
The Star Ferry is a ferry service that has been in operation for over a century. It provides routes to Central and Wanchai. Not only that it is one of Hong Kong's symbols (hence another popular tourist attraction), it is also a very cheap method to cross Victoria Harbour.
