U.S. Route 76 is an east-west United States highway that runs for 548 miles (882 km) from southeast North Carolina to Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Between Chadbourn and Wilmington, U.S. 76 runs concurrent with U.S. 74, a distance of approximately 54 miles (87 km).

As of 2004, the highway's eastern terminus is Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Its western terminus is Chattanooga, Tennessee.
