UKTV Style (previously UK Style) is a television channel broadcasting in the United Kingdom, as part of the UKTV network of channels, and launched on 1 November 1997. Along with the rest of the network, the "UK" prefix was changed to UKTV on 8 March 2004 and is thus now known as UKTV Style.
The channel is available on Sky Digital and Virgin Media. The channel is also available on digital terrestrial television through the Top Up TV pay-tv service from 1pm to 4pm on channel 26. Prior to May 2002, UK Style was carried on ITV Digital channel 38, 24 hours a day.
[edit] Programmes
The output of the channel shows lifestyle programmes (mainly image, home improvements and DIY shows) that are a combination of internally produced shows and repeats of shows from the BBC archive. Before the launch of UKTV Food, it also showed many cookery programmes and gardening programmes, however these now all reside on the new channels UKTV Food and UKTV Gardens respectively. UKTV Style's programming include:
- Bargain Hunt
- Changing Rooms
- DIY SOS
- Escape to the Country
- Homes Under the Hammer
- Our House
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
