Talk:Ultimate Avengers 2
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Just got the dvd yesterday and had to watch it right away. While not as good as the first dvd in the series, it is still enjoyable.
The way that the introduced Black Panther did not flow with the original comic version, but was fine as it created a link between Captain America and the Black Panther.
The death of the character, while shocking in a way, was kind of a waste in my eyes. True, I did not like the character as he was protrayed in the movies, but felt that something more could have been done with him. But on the other hand, having a death on the team of a major player shows that what the characters are doing is not just fun and games.
While they touched on the drinking of Tony Stark in the first one, it is more apperant in this movie. It seems that the only time we did not see him in his armor and he wasn't drinking, was when he was in the mountains hiking with his VP's. Hopefully we will see why he continues to drink, and if he can stop, in the Iron Man movie coming out.
They showed more of Thor with his communciating with Odin, which was good as it helped explain why Thor was on midgard. I don't know if a Thor movie would catch my interest, I have never been a real fan of the character, but I am sure there is a big enough fan base to warrent it.
Captain America continues to be a focus for the movie. He is a great character and has enough of a history to warrant the attention.
I hope, even though there has been no announcement, that a third movie is in the works.
- Yeah that will be cool if a third movie is made in the near future or maybe somewhere in 2007. Johnny542 02:43, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
