MUTV is an American student university channel that features student programming in addition to a set of 16 movies per month. MUTV airs exclusively on the campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia on channel 23. The station is not affiliated with the Missouri School of Journalism, but students often work for MUTV to gain experience before entering their journalism sequence.

- 23NEWS - News show with an emphasis on Mizzou topics. Slogan: Complete Campus Coverage
- MU Talks - New host and executive producer Lorenzo Hall discusses topics of student interest with guests.
- Tailgaters - Hosts Roberto Ruiz and Will Palaszczuk hosts a sports show discussing Mizzou sports, and sports from across the country. This show was hosted by Mike Klos during season one and was called Open Mike.
- Cheap Thrills - Hidden camera pranksters play harmless tricks on unsuspecting Mizzou students.
- Triple Play - MUTV's very own sports trivia game show. Host: Michael Brannen.

MUTV occasionally runs special programs during the year. MUTV produced three specials during the 2005-2006 academic year:
- MSA Presidential Debate 2005 - The MSA candidates battle it out in a series of three debates during election season. MUTV attended the third and final debate as John Andersen and Brooke Moody faced off against Davie Holt and Taylor McKinney. Andersen and Moody went on to win the election and became president and vice president, respectively.
- Comedy Wars - Comedy Wars is an improv show performed each Wednesday in Memorial Union. MUTV was at a performance in March. (Show aired during Final Exam Week in May 2006)
- Meghan Petty's Fashion Show - MUTV showcased a fashion show produced by MU student Meghan Petty. (Show aired during Final Exam Week in May 2006)
[edit] Proposed Ideas, Shows and Specials
- Reality Television - Several ideas for reality-based specials have been proposed to the MUTV staff. The most popular idea has been a dating show similar to those seen on MTV. As of May 2006, the logistics are still being worked out.

- JC Rocks (2001-2005) - a Christian music show. Hosts Paul Matadeen and Mary Stanwood along with a team of correspondents reported on the world of Christian music, news, and issues. The show usually featured 3-4 music videos per episode. JC Rocks also featured numerous interviews with Christian music artists. More than 50 episodes over four seasons aired on MUTV. The show is no longer on MUTV, but can been seen on affiliates nationwide.
- Nighttime - a quirky, late-night show featuring comedy, music artists, and anything else host Nelson Muller could fit into 30 minutes.
- Speak On It (2004) - Host Sylvia Snowden held a roundtable discussion about topics concerning the Black community and the University community as a whole. Only 3 episodes of the show were produced, but the show took on some serious issues.

- Mike Hall anchored MUTV's sports show for 2 years while a student at the University of Missouri. Hall is now the principal anchor for ESPNU.
- Nelson Muller is former general manager and host of Nighttime. Muller is now the midday personality on KOQL-FM, "Q106.1" in Columbia, Missouri.
