The following is a list of songs recorded by Dannii Minogue, but that were chosen not to be used on her studio albums and singles, and remain unreleased. Some have been sent to other recording artists for them to record for use on their albums instead.

[edit] Young Talent Time (1982–1988)

Between 1982 and 1988, Minogue appeared as a performer on the Australian weekly music programme Young Talent Time. Minogue lip synced her performances of popular pop songs to studio recorded backing tracks. All of these backing tracks remain unreleased.

Minogue began recording her second studio album, Get into You, in 1992. Minogue's official webmaster confirmed that two songs recorded for the album remain unreleased. They are as follows:

• "Hold On"^[1]
• "If You're in Love With Me"^[2]
• "Never Let Go" (Chantay Savage/Marc Williams)^[3]
• "No More Love" (Dannii Minogue, Jeff Ishmael)^[4]

According to Minogue's official webmaster, the song "Hold On" was due to be released as a single prior to the recording of "Show You the Way to Go". It remains unknown why the song was not included on Get into You.

The following songs appeared on a MCA master album in the United States^[5]:

• "Feels So Good"
• "If Your in Love With Me"

[edit] Third Mushroom records album

She began recording her third album in 1995, however, Minogue and her record label, Mushroom Records, parted ways in late 1995 following a disagreement regarding which territories the album would be released in.^[6] According to her official fanzine, Love and Kisses, Minogue wrote and recorded songs with multiple dance music producers. They are as follows:

In 1995, Minogue performed the songs "Everlasting Night" and "Free Your Love" at various live events including Pride 1995 and at Birmingham's Subway City Club. While "Free Your Love" remains unreleased, "Everlasting Night" was rerecorded in 1998 and released as an Australian-only single in 1999. The original studio version remains unreleased.^[6]

Minogue's webmaster in 2006 also confirmed the existence of "Let Love Into Your Life" and "Stop".^[7]

In 1998, Minogue performed an unreleased song from the canceled album on her Unleased concert tour titled "Don't Want to Leave You Now".^{[citation needed]}

In 1997, Minogue released her third studio album Girl. Two songs and a mix are known to remain unreleased from the Girl recording sessions. They are as follows:

• "Keep Up With the Good Times"^[8]
• "Someone New" (7" version) – the original was a b-side to the Australian single "Coconut"^[9]

In 2002, Minogue began writing and recording songs for her fourth studio album Neon Nights. Minogue's official webmaster confirmed that three songs recorded for the album remain unreleased. They are as follows:

• "Each Finger Has an Attitude"^[9]
• "It Won't Work Out" (Single Mix)

According to Minogue's webmaster, "It Won't Work Out" was scheduled to be released as the final single from Neon Nights with "Each Finger Has an Attitude" as a double a-side. A promotional CD single later appeared on the internet auction website eBay.

Several unreleased songs recorded for the album were leaked onto the internet in 2005 and 2006. They are as follows:

• "On the Loop" (Interlude)
• "It Won't Work Out" (Original Dance version) – a slower version was included on Neon Nights
• "Just Can't Give You Up" (Terry Ronald/Ian Masterson/Dannii Minogue)

DJ Roger Sanchez wrote and produced the song "Blame it On the Music" for Minogue.^[9] In addition, he also co-wrote two songs with Minogue and Terry Ronald that were recorded, but remain unreleased. They are as follows:

• "Shed My Skin"^[10]
• "Broken"^[10]

Minogue also collaborated with producers Yoga on two songs. They are as follows:

• "Acercate Mas" (Jens Bjurman/Per Kalenius/Lisa Greene/Dannii Minogue) – the song was later recorded by Mariana Ochoa^[11]
• "Give Me Some of That" (Jens Bjurman/Per Kalenius/Lisa Greene/Dannii Minogue)^[12]

In 2004, Minogue supposedly began recording her fifth studio album, but following disagreements with London Records, Minogue and her record label parted ways. Many of the songs remain unreleased. They are as follows:

• "Back In Love" (???) – considered for inclusion on The Hits & Beyond, but was not released as it was believed to sound too much like work from her previous album, 'Neon Nights'^[19]

In late 2006, Warner Music Group announced the release of The Platinum Collection, a compilation of songs recorded during Minogue's time with London Records. The album's release has been postponed, but the track listing released to the public confirmed the existence of many unreleased songs^[9]. They are as follows:

• "(Tut Tut) Does Your Mother Know?" (Cheryl Parker/Dannii Minogue/Sarah Eker/Gareth Young) – leaked onto the internet in 2005

In 2005, Minogue began recording songs for a new album. Many of the songs that were recorded during this period were included on the compilation The Hits & Beyond in 2006. They are as follows:

• "No Romeo" (Pascal Gabriel/Dannii Minogue/Hannah Robbinson) – confirmed by Minogue's webmaster in 2006. It was never released due to Minogue's unhappiness with the final mix^[24]
