Ushishir (Russian: Ушишир) is a partially submerged volcano located in the central Kuril Islands, Russia. The majority of the volcano is below sea level however, the parts that are above sea level form a group of islands, collectively known as the Ushishir Islands. The largest of these islands are Ryponkicha, the northern slopes of the volcano, and Yankicha, the summit of the caldera.
