Valhalla (crater)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Valhalla is the largest impact crater on Jupiter's moon Callisto. It has a bright central region 600 km across, and striking concentric rings extending to a diameter of approximately 3,000 km around that. The ring fracture system may have formed as semi-liquid material slumped towards the centre of the crater following the impact. The crater is named after Valhalla, Odin's hall in Norse mythology.
