[edit] Linear artillery
The Linear artillery is a mobile artillery used by both the Earth Alliance and the Orb Union. During the course of the Bloody Valentine War, this artillery proved to be inefficient against the stronger, more heavily armoured mobile suits. The linear artillery is similar to traditional artillery, except that its main armament is a very high velocity linear cannon.
The Earth Alliance's linear artillery are blue in colour, while those of the Orb Union are painted dark green.
Specifications
Manufacturer: Earth Alliance, Orb Union
Users: Earth Alliance, Orb Union
Unit type: mobile artillery
Armament: linear cannon x1
[edit] Linear tank
The Linear tank is a main battle tank used by both the Earth Alliance and the Orb Union. During the course of the Bloody Valentine War, this tank proved to be inefficient against the stronger, more heavily armoured mobile suits. The linear tank is similar to traditional tanks, except that its main armament is a very high velocity linear cannon. The tank's chassis is split into two sections, apparently for greater mobility. The tank can be operated by one person, by putting the linear cannon on computer control while he drives. It seems however, that there is room in the tank for up to three crew members: a driver, a dedicated gunner, and possibly, a communications officer.
The Eurasian Federation, though they initially lagged behind the Atlantic Federation in mobile suit development, was noted during the Bloody Valentine War for their linear tank corps, However, even with the numerical advantage and skilled commanders such as Morgan Chevalier, they suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Andrew Waltfeld at El Alamein. While linear tanks remained in service afterward, this battle signalled the end of their effectiveness as frontline combat weapons.
The Earth Alliance's linear tanks are tan in color, while those of the Orb Union are painted dark green.
Specifications
Manufacturer: Earth Alliance, Orb Union
Users: Earth Alliance, Orb Union
Unit type: main battle tank
Armament: linear cannon x1
Crew: 1-3; one driver, one gunner, one communications officer
[edit] Missile truck
The Missile truck is the standard multiple rocket launcher artillery of the Earth Alliance and the Orb Union. The vehicle has two missile pods attached on top, which are aimed using a laser line. Over time, the missile truck has been proven to be ineffective in fighting against the stronger, more heavily armoured mobile suits, due to their slow firing rate, the give away laser targeter, and its having nothing even close to being called armor.
Specifications
Manufacturer: Earth Alliance, Orb Union
Users: Earth Alliance, Orb Union, Actaeon Industries
Unit type: multiple rocket launcher artillery
Armament: missile launcher pod x2

[edit] F-7D Spearhead
The F-7D Spearhead is a multi-role vertical take-off and landing atmospheric fighter used by the Earth Alliance. The Spearhead is a mass production fighter aircraft deployed all across Earth, as the Earth Alliance's main terrestrial fighting unit. The Spearhead is lightly armed with four 20 mm machine guns and six anti-air missiles in an internal launch bay. The aircraft's cockpit has accommodations for a pilot and a navigator.
Because it is a lightly armed fighter, it is severely outmatched by any of ZAFT's mobile suits deployed on Earth, and was very limited in effectiveness until the Earth Alliance fielded its own mobile suits, shifting the Spearhead into a support role. The Spearhead's cockpit and armament are similar to those of the larger FX-550 Skygrasper, indicating that it might be the basis of the Skygrasper design. Spearheads are commonly found at Earth Alliance bases and on Tarawa-class carriers.
Many Earth Alliance mobile suit pilots started their careers as Spearhead pilots, most notably Edward "Ed the Ripper" Harrelson, who earned his nickname after slicing a DINN in half with his Spearhead's wings. Mobile armor ace Mu La Flaga also briefly piloted a Spearhead in his escape from JOSH-A during the Battle of JOSH-A.
Specifications

[edit] Connected armoured vehicle
The Connected armoured vehicle is an armoured ground combat support vehicle used by ZAFT. It is a heavily armoured vehicle which can be used on most terrains, even deserts or snowfields.
The connected armoured vehicle doubles as a tank, since it is capable of towing a mobile turret, which can either mount a cannon and two missile launchers or a linear cannon. The mobile turret itself can be separated from the vehicle and secured to the ground in order to increase accuracy. The mobile turret can easily be attached to the connected armoured vehicle to quickly move the mobile turret and then detached at another location. The mobile turret can be abandoned if it becomes a hindrance due to damage or just to increase the speed of the connected armoured vehicle.
Their heavy armour plates make them as resistant as the Earth Alliance tanks, yet their speed and capabilities give them a clear advantage when compared to their Earth Alliance counterparts. With it relying on the mobile turret, it's currently unknown whether the vehicle itself has any weapons.
Specifications
Manufacturer: Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty
Users: Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty
Unit type: armoured ground combat support vehicle
Armament: unknown
Optional armament: mobile turret (cannon x1 and missile launcher x2, or linear cannon x1)

[edit] Guul
The Guul is a mobile suit atmospheric subflight lifter used by ZAFT. It allows mobile suits incapable of flight in Earth's atmosphere to take to the air. It is remotely controlled by the pilot of the mobile suit it carries. It has enough thrust to keep itself and one mobile suit airborne, while performing aerial maneuvers. Currently it is known that the Guul can be used by ZAFT's general multipurpose mobile suits ZGMF-1017 GINN, ZGMF-515 CGUE, ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior and their variations, which are unable to fly in Earth's atmosphere on their own. So far, there is no confirmation that the ZGMF-600 GuAIZ and its variations can use it, although they probably can. They were also briefly used by the G Project Gundam units, which were stolen from the Earth Alliance.
The Guul is lightly armed with two missile launchers on its wings. They are also capable of changing into a folded mode which allows them to be easily stored. The Guul can be stored in Vosgulov-class submarines and easily deployed through the four small vertical catapults.

Manufacturer: Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty
Users: Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty
Unit type: mobile suit atmospheric subflight lifter
Armament: missile launcher x2 (mounted inside wings)
[edit] Infestus
The Infestus is a vertical take-off and landing atmospheric fighter used by ZAFT. It is used as an aerial support unit or for reconnaissance when mobile suits are not available. These fighters are lightly armed with six machine guns, however they also have four hardpoints for missiles. For storage, the Infestus can change into a folded mode. Infestus' can be deployed from bases and possibly from one of the four vertical launchers of Vosgulov-class submarines.

[edit] VoLPHAU
The VoLPHAU is a large multipurpose transport plane used by ZAFT. During the Bloody Valentine wars, VoLPHAUs are used to transport mobile suits and supplies across the Earth from ZAFT bases to the front lines on the battlefield.
In Cosmic Era 73, VoLPHAUs are deployed all across Earth, but this time it is to provide emergency assistance to areas devastated by Operation "Break The World".

[edit] Heli
The Heli is a helicopter-like vertical take-off and landing combat aircraft used by the Orb Union. These aircraft are lightly armed with two machine cannons, and are used to patrol the skies over Orb and to transport personnel. The aircraft's cockpit has accommodations for a pilot and a co-pilot. Helis also operate from the Aegis-class cruisers of Orb's defense fleets as aerial scouts. As a light aircraft, the Heli is outmatched against any type of mobile suit.
In Cosmic Era 71, Uzumi Nara Athha uses a Heli to fly over the battlefield after the first phase of the Battle of Orb.
