Vibrational psychology
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Vibrational psychology is a neologism for a set of ontologies based on the field of transpersonal psychology, that each "vibrates with the Truth".
Vibrational psychology finds its use in transpersonal psychotherapy, where highly sophisticated speakers employ guided meditation, intuition, and group therapy sessions:
- to interpret dreams;
- to analyze relationships;
- to assess claims of fact or fiction;
- to enable healing from disease or addiction;
- to effect desired changes in one's life; and
- to fulfill human potential
Proponents claim: that power is a motivating force in human endeavour; that understanding why such problems as depression or other affective disorders manifest is a key to their treatment; that social and historical context is necessary for this understanding; that you cannot analyze and treat individuals in-isolation-from their community/culture/society; and that correct application of the technique requires extremely careful use of language (because the unconscious interprets things literally) and therefore should be performed only by trained counsellors.
