[edit] Stages are local restrictions with local idiosyncrasies
Note that the stages of water restrictions are highly localised. For example Stage 3 in the ACT is different to Stage 3 in Melbourne - for example, hand watering is allowed in Canberra every 2nd day 7-10 am and 7-10pm but in Melbourne 2 days per week 6-8am and 8-10pm, a minor difference though in the past some of the differences have been more major.--Golden Wattle talk 22:37, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- A table showing the differences and exactly what each stage means would be a good idea --Astrokey44 01:47, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Agree: New stage 5 in Brisbane will be interesting--Golden Wattle talk 04:00, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
