Whoomp! (There It Is) is the title of a number-one R&B single by group Tag Team.
The hit song spent one week at number one on the US R&B chart. It spent seven weeks at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1993, kept out of the top slot by UB40's "Can't Help Falling in Love" and Mariah Carey's "Dreamlover". The single is certifed 4X Platinum in the US for sales of over 4,000,000 copies.
"Whoomp! (There It Is)" was rated #97 in VH1's 100 Greatest One-hit Wonders.
This song was covered in 2005 by Crazy Frog on his album Crazy Frog Presents Crazy Hits.
