This WikiProject aims to organise and improve articles relating to the city of Bristol, England.

Roughly in order of priority.
- Make Bristol a featured article.
- Create articles on all important sub-divisions and places of interest in Bristol.
- Add basic data such as population and maps to all sub-divisions of Bristol.
- Add at least one photograph to every sub-division and place of interest in Bristol.
- Possibly create an infobox for places of interest with maps, visitor numbers etc.
- Make History of Bristol, Culture of Bristol, Economy and industry of Bristol, Politics of Bristol and Transport in Bristol good, and ultimately featured articles.
- Possibly create our own local Wikipedia 1.0.

- Expand stub-class and start-class articles.
- Bring B-class articles up to good article standard.
- Bring A-class articles and Good Articles up to featured article standard.
- Add photos to these articles.
- Add maps to these articles.
- Add infoboxes to these articles.
- Add statistical information (e.g. population or visitor numbers) to these articles.
- Expand all the short articles listed on Grade I listed buildings in Bristol
- Create articles for: Christmas Steps, Broad Street, Bristol, all of the red links on Grade II* listed buildings in Bristol & Grade II listed buildings in Bristol and expand these lists (there are hundreds of buildings which should be included).
- Create articles for: all churches on Churches in Bristol which don't have one
