Welcome to the Cornwall WikiProject. We are a group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of Cornwall.

Goals

• Improve the coverage of Cornish parishes to more than just one line by adding photos and infoboxes where appropriate
• To better organise and link together Cornwall related articles throughout wikipedia (festivals, customs etc) so that they can be more easily explored by interested laymen
• Increase the detail of articles about Cornish culture including illustrations and photos where appropriate
• Set a common style for Cornwall related articles

Here are some tasks you can do: Stubs: parishes for North Cornwall are required. One sentence on the location should be enough for starters Other: Parish navigation boxes are required for Caradon in the same style as the other districts (see here) This template should be placed on each parish page within that district. Additionally, parish maps are needed for Carrick, North Cornwall and Caradon in a similar style to Penwith or Kerrier which should be slotted into the main district infobox Adding the {{CornwallWikiproject}} template to the talk page of Cornwall related articles

Proposed renaming of Categories

I have proposed renaming Category:Parishes in the Borough of North Cornwall, as North Cornwall is not a Borough. To contribute to the discussion, click here DuncanHill 18:50, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

I have also proposed renaming Category:Parishes of in the Borough of Restormel, as there is a superfluous "of" in the name. The debate is here DuncanHill 18:53, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

The above two categories have now been renamed Category:Parishes in North Cornwall and Category:Parishes in the Borough of Restormel respectively. Articles have been re-catted by bot. DuncanHill 22:55, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
