Wilhelm, Count of Schaumburg-Lippe

Wilhelm, Count of Schaumburg-Lippe (9 January 1724-10 September 1777) was a ruler of the County of Schaumburg-Lippe.
He was born in London the son Albrecht Wolfgang, Count of Schaumburg-Lippe and his first wife Countess Margarete Gertrud of Oeynhausen (1701-1726).
He succeeded his father as Count on the 25 October 1748. As Count he sided with Prussia during the Seven Years' War. He died at Wölpinghausen and was succeeded by his cousin Philipp as Count.
He was married on the 12 November 1765 at Stadthagen to Countess Marie Barbara Eleonore of Lippe-Biesterfeld (1744-1776), they had two children.
