[edit] Weak Signal
Something should be said about XYT's weak signal. As the self-proclaimed "sports station" and home to Detroit Tiger, Detroit Red Wing and Detroit Lion radio broadcasts, XYT should have a strong enough signal to reach metro Detroit sports fans, even as the Detroit metro area has grown to include the once far-flung areas of northern Macomb and Oakland counties. Instead, fans are left to suffer with a static-filled signal from a second-rate station.
[edit] Merge
I think WXYZ-AM should be merged into this article, since it pretty much has the same info. CoolKatt number 99999 03:42, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- You oughtta do it. WXYZ/WXTZ is the same station with different call letters. I would only suggest separate articles if WXYZ had moved elsewhere on the dial, such as WSCR/Chicago. This didn't happen; the station was simply renamed. Goeverywhere 00:01, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Requested move
I have requested that this page be moved to WXYT, as that is the FCC-assigned callsign. Could someone move this please? CoolKatt number 99999 01:00, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deny move
Why is this conflicting with your imaginary mergers??? This was a legendary radio entity with significant impact on the broadcast industry. Allow this article to be contributed to. Its only a couple months old.
