Xfm

Xfm is a brand of commercial radio stations focused on current and unsigned alternative music and owned by GCap Media in the United Kingdom. Xfm was created in 1997 in London, but has since expanded to several stations. Each station produces its own content, with little syndication.
Current stations include:
- Xfm London has been broadcasting since 1997.
- Xfm Manchester was launched on March 15, 2006.
- Xfm Scotland, previously known as Beat 106, was launched on January 4, 2006.
- Mi Xfm, a 'personalised radio player' with no commericals or DJs was launched in February 2007.
