Yaohushua, the original hebrew name of the messiah, which means Yaohu's salvation.
This is simply incorrect. The English rendering of the Hebrew is either "Yeshua" or "Yahshua". -- Stephen Gilbert
You mention 'this is simply incorrect' and then state 'is either..or' better we KNOW the Truth rather than dismiss what we do not know
Actually the concordance of the king james bible written by James Strong references Jesus back to greek Iesous, and from there to the hebrew-chaldean equivalent Yehoshua which was his original name and sounds like Yaohushua a transliteration to english of the original name.
Also the names Yeshua and Yahshua means salvation but leaves out the name of the Father whose gave us this salvation.
It is also interesting to note: the concordance by James Strong also states 'Yah' is the sacred name, and then says Yahu means 'Yah is he', so we in english can say Yah created the heavens and earth or Yah who created the heavens and earth, which so to speak is Yaohu created the heavens and earth.
Also in English versions of the bible the YHVH which means Yehovah or Yaohu is treated as a generic god, calling him LORD instead of even trying to convey his name.
- Generally, the Hebrew letter "vav" is transliterated "w", so the Divine Name is usually transliterated YHWH. "Yaohu" is not a Hebrew transliteration at all to the best of my knowledge (I have studied Hebrew, but not extensively). Do you have any sources to back up your claims, besides the yaohushua page? I have searched a bit. "Yaohushua" seems to be a one man start-up cult (with a lot of web space). --css
Its actually a group of people who are searching scripture for truth and publishing the same.
I suggest that if this page is going to stay, that it actually have factual information about the group... having a page full of links and promotional material is not useful to Wikipedia or Yaohushua

Obviously you have not researched the origins YAOHUSHUA or of His followers.There are many groups of believers calling on YAOHUSHUA....AKA YAUHUSHUA. There are bad apples in every "religion", and not all are connected to one another. That would be saying all christians are catholic or all christians are mormon...however....the fact remains...."WE" are not christian, nor do "WE" call on "jesus" by any name.YAUHUSHUA is not another name for Jesus. Jesus is a relatively new name. We believe in fact, that jesus is a replacement title for YAUHUSHUA...jesus less than 500 years old I found,when in researching the first few editions of the KJV.
I was spammed by christians trying to sell various items...and asking for donations for the starving children in Africa. Does that suggest all christians are spammers? Give it a rest. If you feel threatend by YAUHUSHUA and the beliefs....ignore us. Do not bear false witness!
Ok for the genuine researchers,.. Benyamin NetanYAOHU if anyone has HEARD how his proper name is actually pronounced, either NetanYOW or Netan YOW HOO now, take a moment to discover the NAME in HEBREW within his proper name.

If you wish to provide a verifiable, NPOV description of "Yaohushua", the appropriate place to do so is in that article. If you wish to have a discussion about (a) why the redirection that was arrived at through AfD is not appropriate and (b) how you plan to make information on "Yaohushua" verifiable (see verifiability and no original research), please do so here. Again, this is NOT a sacred Name movement, begun by some people following yahweh or some other phoney religious entity. The HISTORY is verifiable in the Given Holy Scriptures. The World Wide Web is not the SOURCE of all information or facts. Sadly some groups have developed that actually profane His Holy Name, and in turn color the Truth. 'Verifiable' indeed He is verifiable, by His children. This is how we KNOW His Name 'My children will KNOW My Name' (Isaiah Holy Writ)
Written in Hebrew character rendered 'YHVH' in english text... many debate His Name how it is pronounced, etc. To their own harm. Humility is the character He is developing in us, patient endurance, the genuine love of our enemies, we pray for and bless those who curse us. So I concur, you may not find much information on the World Wide Web, but then again you may! Just dont be misled by one or two websites reporting this or that. We do not seek to convert you, or change your beliefs, our Father does the work, we simply proclaim His glorious Name. No factual nor historical information exist for the invention of the names jesus yahweh jehovah, and many numerous idols, however popular support exists. Community concensus is not 'five' people either, unless wikipedia is a five person community of course disguised. No offense taken none the less, blessings to you especially in the Name of our King and genuine Messiah, the True Creator YAOHUSHUA!
