Yuka Takeuchi is a fictional character from Variable Geo series. She is the hero of the series, appeared in all their titles. Also, is the most known and charming character from this fighting series, a very popular girl, especially in Japan.

Yuka is a normal teenager with a heart of gold who lives in Tokyo. Her parents died when she was very young, and she was raised in the ways of the artial arts by her grandfather. She now practices the art of Full-Contact Waitressing at "Hanna Miller's" restaurant. Also she's an invigorating sports girl with a strong sense of justice. An upperclassmen that adores her classmates.

- Kikoudan (Energy Ball) - Yuka shoots a energy-ball out of her hand.
- Idatensoku (Hurricane Kick) - Yuka performs a powerful standing, spinning roundhouse kick who can knocks the opponent down.
- Souryuugeki (Rising Uppercut) - Yuka performs a jumping uppercut that can't knocks the opponent down, but can pass through projectiles.
- Kikourendan (Multiple Energy Balls) - One of the Yuka's supers, here she shoots 3 Kikoudan projectiles instead one.
- Kiryuu Idatengeki - Another super, a mix of her 3 normal moves. She throws a Kikoudan projectile to stun the opponent, then follows up with a Idatensoku, and ends with a Souryuugeki.
- Kyuukyoku Kikoudan (Ultimate Energy Ball) - Her ultimate super. A beam super based on her Kikoudan technique.

Yuka in the anime doesn't have any changes in her story or her look. She still searching strong opponents in the tournament. In the first battle, fights against Jun Kubota, being the winner. Jun after that, sees in Yuka a good opponent and friend, so befriended with her and accompany and help her during all the 3 chapters of the OVA. Also makes friendship with various characters of the series, like Manami Kusonoki and Elena (Erilin) Goldsmith, who defeated her in a fight.
The story in the OVA, mainly related the close relationship between Yuka and his close friend and rival Satomi Yajima, and her ultimate battle against a brainwashed Satomi, later being possessed by Miranda Jyahana's spirit. In the end, Yuka can freed her friend and decided to take the last fight in the rooftop of the burning Jyahana Corp. building to define the only Virgin Goddess, the maximum title for a V.G. warrior.

- In terms of her personality, background, personal goals, and fighting style, Yuka is a parody of Ryu from the Street Fighter series of fighting games.
- Hanna Miller's is a parody of Anna Miller's, a real-life chain of restaurants in Hawaii and Japan. Yuka's uniform is closely modeled after the Anna Miller's waitress uniform.
- Yuka is close friend and rival of Satomi Yajima, her partner in almost all the games. Also, Tamao Mitsurugi admires her, imitating various of her moves.
- Also Yuka has one of the largest busts in the series, even when in the artworks (official and fanart ones) and in the V.G. OVA it looks bigger than her real measurements. This case also happens to another famous fighting games female: Mai Shiranui from SNK Playmore's Fatal Fury series.
- Yuka is the only returning character in the recent Variable Geo Neo, known as Misty, a mysterious fighter in the new V.G. tournament.
