Zac Bierk

Zac I. Bierk (born September 17, 1976 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada) is a professional hockey goaltender.

Bierk went to school at Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School (Peterborough, Ontario). Where he played for Peterborough OHL, a junior hockey team.

Bierk is 6'4" and weights between 186-205lbs. His uniform numbers are: #1 Tampa Bay, #31 Minnesota, #30 Springfield

Bierk is currently a free agent and last played for the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2003-04 NHL season. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft as their ninth-round pick, #212 overall, from the Peterborough Petes. He has also played for the Tampa Bay Lightning and Minnesota Wild. Bierk's most memorable game was played on January 9, 2003, for Phoenix against Michael Leighton of the Chicago Blackhawks, when the two goalies recorded an NHL shutout first.

He is the brother of former Skid Row lead singer Sebastian Bach and Canadian actress Dylan Bierk. Bierk is the son of David Bierk, an artist whose paintings are still displayed at the Nancy Hoffman Gallery in New York.
