Hey, I'm Zouavman Le Zouave! I live in Morocco, and I am the guitarist/singer for the Casablanca-based band Bassilik as well as a proud Wikipedian! I have more than 3200 edits on Wikipedia (all languages counted), including more than 2000 on the English Wikipedia and more than 1200 on the French Wikipedia. Music is like essential in my life. I cannot live without music... If I have no music around me, I have about two or three songs stuck in my head (and they do not play harmoniously). Working around music enables me to have one (and only one) song playing in my head, and this helps me to concentrate better. Generally, when I am writing/editing a Wikipedia article, I will be listening to music. Here are my musical tastes... ^^

I love Tintin comic books! My favorite is by far Flight 714. I read them in their original version, in French. I have the whole collection in my library. I'm also a great fan of Karaboudjan, one of Dan Swanö's side projects, whose primary theme is Tintin.

Although I have only read one of his comic books, I am a great fan of Enki Bilal. Not only is the story captivating, but the art is amazing!

I am a great Nintendo fan! I'm not a video game freak, but I am very much into The Legend of Zelda and Metroid Prime. I'm pretty much looking forward to being in possession of the new Zelda game and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (which would require the Wii, but no matter!).

I am very interested by science-fiction and H.P. Lovecraft's stories. Steganography and cryptography are among my greatest interests! I often make up new alphabets, inspired from the Futhark or other ancient runes. I like to draw, even though I don't have any particular drawing talent. I often like to hide messages in the songs I write (in the chord sequences, in the rhythms, in the general structure).

Although I'm not a history freak, I am really interested in the Vikings' history and Norse mythology. Other more random subjects like Pastafarianism and conspiracy theories are among my interests as well.

I tend to feel that some articles just have to be deleted. I hate seeing invented musical genres (especially when it comes to heavy metal) on Wikipedia because I just know that some kid is going to read that and think it is a real musical genre and then propagate the lie through internet. I have deleted some pretty funny invented musical genres on the French Wikipedia: Tolkien metal, love black metal, punk glam metal, just to cite a few. On the English Wikipedia, there is not such a big problem. I have nevertheless led successful AfD's for "Latin Metal", "Post Music", "Brutal Prog", "Film Score Metal" and "Shawn Bastien".
Whenever I find a spelling mistake or a link problem, I generally fix it whether on IP or logged in. I am also getting maniac about capital letters in genres. I am currently starting something new where I go in the "what links here" page of a redirect that has improper capitalization (for example Punk Rock instead of Punk rock) and then go in each of the articles to correct the mistake. It's not a big contribution, but it certainly makes Wikipedia a better place to be (for me at least ^^).

I changed more than a 150 times (yes I have counted) the phrase Pop Punk to Pop punk (or pop punk, depending on its position in the sentence). See my edits on February 26 and 27.
I did the same for avant garde metal which redirected to avant-garde metal. I corrected every article who linked to avant garde metal until zero articles on the mainspace linked to the redirect page.
