Buddha Promo is a Blink-182 tape released to promote which was then their demo album, Buddha & would also provide a platform for their 1996 recordings for Dude Ranch. Released after Cheshire Cat however recorded before, it comprised of mostly a collection of old songs from Short Bus sessions. It did also contain a few early demos of songs that appeared on Cheshire Cat & would later appear on Dude Ranch. Recorded as an internal release in 1994 by Kung Fu Records it can be recognised as Blink-182's fourth demo.

- Tom & Mark each sang the lead vocals in four songs on the demo.

- Track 1 "Princess Leia" later appears on Dude Ranch as "A New Hope".
- Track 2 "The Girl Next Door" was a cover of Screeching Weasel's B side to their EP Radio Blast which later featured on Kill the Musicians. Features on Kung Fu Records reissue of Buddha remastered.
- Track 3 "Strung Out" can be found on Dude Ranch as "Enthused".
- Tracks 4 & 5 "Ben Wah Balls" & "Does My Breath Smell" was released on Cheshire Cat prior to the Buddha Promo release however containing a later recording.
- Track 6 "Voyeur" was released as a rare music video in 1997 & also appeared on album’s Dude Ranch & The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show (The Enema Strikes Back!). These versions differ from that of the Promo tape.
- Track 7 "Wasting Time" was also released on Cheshire Cat prior to the Buddha Promo release with a later recording.
- Track 8 "Don't" features on Kung Fu Records reissue of Buddha remastered.
