- I've created a page - Ethnic Minorities in Northern Ireland. I'd appreciate comments and improvements. NotMuchToSay 22:12, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- In addition to the comment below I'd really like to start a debate on the use of Irish language on NI pages. Usage for placenames seems to be fine to me, but some usage seems increasingly tenuous. See Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Department of the Environment (Northern Ireland), Department_for_Employment_and_Learning and First Minister of Northern Ireland. NotMuchToSay 18:41, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- I've started a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (Ireland-related articles) about the use of the Irish language on NI-related articles. Not sure if this is the best place to start a discussion because I'm relatively new to this, but I'd appreciate your input. NotMuchToSay 21:40, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- There is a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (Ireland-related articles) on whether to use "member" or "volunteer" to describe people who are in the IRA. Your input would be appreciated. Demiurge 17:26, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

- Hi. I'm having a debate with another user about the best way to use Categories in relation to the somewhat unusual history of the Ireland international football teams teams (main articles Ireland national football team (IFA), Northern Ireland national football team and Republic of Ireland national football team). Discussion is at Category talk:Football in Ireland#IFA and FAI international teams if anyone cares to read and/or contribute. Thanks. jnestorius(talk) 01:22, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, I've noticed Vacuum newspaper has been nominated for deletion - for those who dont know it, its a satirical newspaper from Belfast, so I would ask experienced wikipedians to weigh in and help the article out a bit. I've suggested grouping it with related articles - but as a bit of a newcomer to this all, I dont know how to do that. Can anyone help??
- TfD nomination of Template:Northern Ireland topics. Template:Northern Ireland topics has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 13:54, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
- Is Northern Ireland symbols a rogue category? See Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 October 4#Category:Northern Ireland symbols --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 19:25, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- I've started a CFD proposal at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 September 10#Category:Gaelic Athletic Association clubs in Derry. At the minute consensus is to leave it as it is. In this case the county is beng referred to, rather than the city. So it should be Londonderry. If the votes stay as is then the Derry/Londonderry naming agreement will be breached. Stu ’Bout ye! 16:24, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- The result of the debate was rename/merge as nominated Category:Gaelic Athletic Association clubs in Derry to Category:Gaelic Athletic Association clubs in Londonderry
- I have started stubs for all the Northern Ireland government departments (Template:Northern Ireland Executive). They all need a bit of attention, I also wikified tables from the Northern Ireland Executive article. Keithology Talk! 20:07, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- Some recently-started articles on schools in Northern Ireland are being nominated for deletion. Please add your votes and/or comments regarding the proposal. --Mal 01:08, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
- New {{NI-bio-stub}} created today as per this request. Can someone check if I created it correctly? This will mean a fair amount of work to change NI biography stubs currently tagged with the {{NI-stub}} tag, and others tagged with {{Ireland-bio-stub}}. Stu ’Bout ye! 15:05, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

- There is currently a revert war going on with the article Constituent Countries with two issues - one relating specifically to Northern Ireland. --Mal 06:23, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- There is a need to improve articles on Northern Irish politicians. I have added succession boxes to a number of them but, in doing so, I noticed thre were a number of politicians missing. One glaring example off-hand is Brid Rogers (as I'm aware this is how her name is spelled.. not Rodgers - please verify). Many others are merely stubs.
-
- The article Brid Rodgers has now been created. Having looked through the SDLP's website, I confirmed that Rodgers is the correct spelling of her surname! --Mal 14:08, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
