While Patrick was running around in Bikini Bottom, a stranger yells at Patrick telling him to "get out of town". Patrick becomes convinced he's in danger and tells SpongeBob he's going to move. So he packs "his" things (actually SpongeBob's), and is ready to leave. But SpongeBob tells him he can change his identity. So Spongebob preforms a makeover on Patrick and makes him look like a girl;now known as "Patricia". Everyone falls in love with him, especially Squidward and Mr. Krabs, who only hires "Patricia" since she is a girl. Mr. Krabs and Squidward also flirt with "Patricia", although this doesn't present a problem to him. Patrick has no idea what's making Mr.Krabs and Squidward act so weird and nice to him. Bikini Bottomites males all over fight over Patrick but Patrick ignores them. Later, he finds out the fish was just trying to sell him a luxury vacation. Patrick then goes and strips off all his clothes. When the Bikini Bottomites find out the truth, Squidward's eye lids started to close tight after seeing a naked Patrick. Mr. Krabs fires "Patricia" because Patrick isn't a girl. Spongebob and Patrick then run out of the Krusty Krab.

SpongeBob: (After Patrick packs SpongeBob's items in his suitcase) I can't believe you're leaving, Patrick... WITH ALL MY PICKLES!

Larry: Bro, your girlfriend is not ugly.

Patrick: It's the end of me... being here.
SpongeBob: Well what if you weren't Patrick Star?
Patrick: I'm not Patrick Star?!

Mr. Krabs: Patricia... The most beautiful sound I've ever seen. SpongeBob, do we need any more help down at the Krusty Krab?
SpongeBob: No.
Mr. Krabs: We do? Good. She can start right away!

Squidward: (after Patrick reveals who he really is) Um... I'm going to take a shower.

Mr. Krabs: So let me get this straight: You're not a woman?
Patrick: No.
Mr. Krabs: Well then, you're fired. If you need me I'll be in my office for, I don't know, the next... 20 years or so.

Patrick: He had a briefcase!
SpongeBob: AHHHHHH! A BRIEFCASE!
Spongebob: Who will go with me to the next Jellyfishermans Expo?
SpongeBob: What about all our plans? 8:00 A.M. — Wake up Patrick; 9:00 A.M. — Eat kelpo with Patrick; 10:00 A.M — Brush teeth with Patrick, 1:00 P.M. — Stare at Patrick; 3:00 P.M — Eat lunch with Patrick! WHO'S GONNA DO ALL THAT WITH ME?

This episode takes place on Sunday. In other episodes, such as SB-129 and Good Neighbors, the Krusty Krab is closed on Sundays.
This episode could be seen on the Whale of a Birthday DVD before it aired on television.
This episode aired in Germany before it aired in the United States.
In Germany, this episode is called "Patricia", the name of Patrick's new identity.
In the UK this episode was aired before it was aired in the US. It was aired as the second part of Squidtastic Voyage.
Squidtastic Voyage was supposed to re-air with this episode, but That's No Lady aired alone.^{[citation needed]}
Squidtastic Voyage re-aired alongside That's No Lady, just a few days after its first showing.
The visor used as one of Patrick's disguises is similar to that of Geordi La Forge from Star Trek: the Next Generation. It is also similar to Cyclops from X-Men.
When Patrick runs into SpongeBob's house, his windows have no shades, but in the next moment, the window has shades.
Patrick packs: 2 pairs of SpongeBob's pants, a large amount of peanut butter, and a large amount of pickles.
