"The Best Thing" is the announced second single off Relient K's fifth studio album, Five Score and Seven Years Ago. The band's manager announced it on their messages boards on March 17, 2007. There is an expected music video that could possibly be shot in the coming months. The song will reportedly be performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in April 2007. The song will be released to Top 40 and Hot AC stations on March 10th, with an expected impact date of March 17th. [1]
