This wikiproject focuses on creation, improvement and promotion of Bangladesh-related articles in Wikipedia. The scope of the project should include Bangladeshi culture, way of life, geography, people, history and society.

Creation of a Bangla Project page(This is now in the scope of Wikipedia:WikiProject Bengal!)- Have some nice maps of Bangladesh and major cities posted (Some good maps available from BD govermnet's website as well as from the CIA Factbook site)
- Addition of some articles on Major Bangladeshi Disasters like Floods and Cyclones
- Pages on Festivals of Bangladesh (Pohela Boishakh, Eid, Durga Puja etc)
- Bangladeshi games:
- Traditional such as ha-du-du (Kabadi) and other old games (Daria bandha, bouchi etc)
- Current day such as cricket, shooting, khokho, football, ha-du-du
- Time-to-time translation-to-enrich unofficial "sub-project" to improve Bangla Wikipedia
