- ja版の最初の版はen版の原著者による機械翻訳と思われます。おそらくオリジナルはsk版です。かなり多言語を使いこなす人のようですが、自分で翻訳できない言語については機械翻訳を使ったようです。この人はモショヴツェの村のウェブページやパンフなども作っていて、どうも役場か観光協会の人のような気がするのでが・・・。Penpen 2007年3月7日 (水) 15:13 (UTC)

Hi there. I am the author of the article in question. I am sorry I don't speak any Japanese, so I have to write in English. With the help of an online translator I managed to understand some of the discussion going on about the article モショヴツェ, and I would like to add some explanation:
I created the original version of the article in the Slovak language, based on a brochure I had made about the town, where I live. I subsequently translated the article / had it translated into more languages. As far as I understood, in the comments, the Korean version was also mentioned. It was translated by a Korean PhD. student, who is currently studying at the University of Economics in Bratislava.
As for the Japanese version, the first draft was created by a machine translator (http://babelfish.altavista.com). I subseqently asked several people at the Japanese Wikipedia community to help me correct the mistakes made by the machine and put the entire article into "proper Japanese". Fortunately, user Penpen helped me in this and improved the article into good Japanese :-).
As for the reason, why I wrote the article about the town in the first place, it is one of the oldest towns in the Turiec region of Slovakia, and is quite significant for the people, who were born there. Therefore I thought it might be worth mentioning in Wikipedia. I am also very much interested in foreign languages, and having the article translated into many languages is very interesting also from the linguistic point of view, as it is possible to compare how the (more or less) same text looks like in various languages.
In one of the comments, as far as I understood, it was mentioned that I might be a city official or a member of a sightseeing agency. This is not true. I am a 23 year old student of International Relations at the University of Economics in Bratislava (http://fmv.euba.sk), and I wrote the article purely for the purposes of information, and not because of advertisement. The town does NOT live from tourism (there is only one autocamping and no hotels), so putting advertisements on Wikipedia would be pointless. You can also enter my name into Google to see that I am in no way connected to any travel agencies. Please, if you find some content of the article inappropriate or if you feel that some parts of it look like an advertisement, feel free to change or modify the part to fulfill the Japanese Wikipedia Standards.
If there is any way how I could help you improve the article or change its parts so as not to violate the Japanese Wikipedia criteria, please, let me know either here or at my English talk page (en:User_talk:PeterRet). I think that Japanese is a very important language, therefore I would be very very sorry if the article was deleted.

- （削除）英語版の2006年7月17日 02:17 (UTC) の版をPeter Retkovskyさんが使用したとおっしゃっているAltaVista - Babel Fish Translationで翻訳してみたところ、翻訳結果が2006年7月20日 16:33 (UTC) の日本語版初版とほぼ一致しました。Wikipedia:翻訳FAQ#機械翻訳についてでは（公式な方針やガイドラインではないものの）、「翻訳結果をGFDLの下で利用できないことが判明しているソフト」として「インターネット上の機械翻訳」が挙げられていますし、Babel Fishの利用条件も端くれの錬金術師さんが指摘されている通りですので、記事の削除はやむを得ないと思います。初版投稿者のPeter Retkovskyさんの熱意も伝わりますし、Penpenさんもこれまで協力してこられて記事の内容はよくお分かりだと思われますので、お手数とは思いますが、いったん削除して問題がない状態にした上で、改めて英語版から翻訳されてはいかがでしょうか？ --Metatron 2007年3月31日 (土) 03:09 (UTC)
