[edit] Crimson Rose
- This is a photograph of Crimson Rose, Pachliopta hector, a beautiful butterfly of the Swallowtail family (Papilionidae) native to India. It shows the UP side markings very clearly.
- This image is loaded at Wikimedia in the name ' TS002_Pachliopta_hector.jpg'.
[edit] Mimicry
- The genus Pachliopta represents the Red-bodied Swallowtails which are inedible due to the choice of their larval foodplants. Accordingly they are mimicked by some inedible butterflies.
