Air gun
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An air gun is a gun which uses compressed air or gas to launch a projectile. The projectile for an air gun is usually either a pellet or a ball bearing. They are very small and their calibres range from .177 to .25. In some countries there are strict measures in place that limit the sales of air guns so not everyone can have one. They are not as powerful as real guns but they can still kill people. Many people enjoy air rifle and pistol shooting either for fun or hunting. In the Olympics air pistols are used in one of the shooting events.
