Empire
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An empire (also known as an imperium) is made up of a set of lands (regions) nearby ruled by governors, viceroys or client kings in the name of an emperor, who rules the entire Empire. One could say an empire can be any large state with many different cultures ruled from a single place or center. Like other states, an empire keeps its political structure at least partly by saying they will not hurt its own people.
