Long Island

Long Island is a large island in New York. It is the biggest island in the United States. The island is made up of Queens and Brooklyn in the west, and Nassau County and Suffolk County in the east. To the north is the Long Island Sound and to the south is the Atlantic Ocean. The term "Long Island" usually only means Nassau and Suffolk because Brooklyn and Queens are part of New York City. 7,536,000 people live there.
