1903-04 South African cricket season
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 1903-04 South African cricket season was the thirteenth season of first-class cricket in South Africa. There were no first-class touring teams, and all first-class matches were played for the Currie Cup. There was a change in format of the Cup in this year. No longer was it a qualifying round-robin followed by a final for which the holders had already qualified. Instead it was a knock-out competition. This also allowed for the competition to be held in more than one province. Transvaal retained the Cup after they beat Western Province in the Final.
