Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Lean manufacturing. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links. Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the page AIDS on Wikipedia! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, thanks, and we hope that you will like Wikipedia.

Your edit to WAP
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in WAP. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Note from a bewildered 196.2.124.251 user
It seems that this IP is blocked. I am on a dynamic IP based ISP in South Africa, and I don't even remember looking at any of the pages mentioned here, so it seems that others on my ISP have been the cause of the block. Is signing up for an account a sure-fire way to prevent this from affecting me? (Sorry I can't sign this post I haven't got an alias as yet, I haven't gotten one because all I've done up til now is make spelling or grammar corrections and silly little stuff like that). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 196.2.124.251 (talk • contribs) 06:21, February 9, 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I'd advise signing up for an account here. Its free and very easy to do. You won't get spam as a result. And you'll avoid this kind of incident if you are on a shared IP. Good luck, Gwernol 14:43, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
