[edit] Your edit to Welcome to Collinwood

Your recent edit to Welcome to Collinwood was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. Click here for frequently asked questions about the bot and this warning. // Tawkerbot2 16:30, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your question on Shen Gong Wu

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Also, please leave questions to the talk pages of articles. Since the Orb of Tornami has never been used with the Reversing Mirror, we will never know what it does. It could produce earth, it could dry up lakes or oceans, but speculation is not meant for Wikipedia. This is why only uses (and their known effects) are listed under "Reversing Mirror & Any Shen Gong Wu" in the article. Ryulong 21:39, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit

Thanks for your note, but I would point out that if you add obscene messages to your edits, this is usually regarded as a strong indication of vandalism. The only other contribution you made was changing a ":" to a "...". Please try to be constructive and restrained in future. Bwithh 21:39, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

I have just noticed that you have further chosen to insult me through a message attached to an otherwise insubstantive edit to the Big Rock Candy Mountain article. Please read WP:CIVIL. I hope I will not be forced to take matters further. Bwithh 21:43, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Further possible vandalism

I have also noticed and reverted your possible personal attack vandalism of the Palmer Cox article. Unless you have verified evidence from authoritative sources that this person is widely considered a racist, you should not insert your personal opinons into the article. This breaks WP:OR and WP:NPOV. It may also be considered vandalism if a suspect pattern of edits emerges. Bwithh 22:04, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] No personal attacks

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. (Even when you think an editor is supporting a reprehensible position you must still treat them civilly. It's not an option.) -Will Beback 06:02, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Please do not attack other editors, which you did in this edit summary. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 03:08, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dismbiguation

The purpose of a dismbiguation page is not to give a short characterizaiton of each article. The purpose is simply to give enough informaiton to allow readers to find the article they were looking for. See Wikipedia:disambiguation and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages). Since there are no other websites called "Stormfront" we don't need to describe it further on the disambiguation page. -Will Beback 22:43, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Whatever your point may be...

Whatever your point may be, please read WP:POINT - Nunh-huh 23:38, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to David Duke, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. If you feel that the edit I reverted should not have been reverted, please contact me. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 22:06, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for experimenting with the page Leo Felton on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. ScorpO 02:12, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Rosario Dawson

Your recent edit to Rosario Dawson (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. [edit] Regarding edits made during December 25, 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. If this is an IP address, and it is shared by multiple users, ignore this warning if you did not make any unconstructive edits. TeckWizTalkContribs@ 03:16, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Blocked
You have been blocked for vandalism for a period of time. To contest this block, add the text {{unblock}} on this page, along with an explanation of why you believe this block to be unjustified. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia after the block has expired, you will be blocked for longer and longer periods of time.

Please do not erase warnings on this page. Doing so may be considered disruptive. Kukini 03:17, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chewbacca

I am sorry if I have offended you, but the talk page is best left for discussion on the article itself. bibliomaniac15 00:46, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, about that, I seee that your edits were with good intentions, they just looked like racially hatefull. As a tip in general, alway make sure you cite your sources, and use an edit summary to explain your edit; this is especially important for edits that could misconstrued by other editors. Once again, you have my apologies. Danski14 06:39, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I reverted your changes to George Lincoln Rockwell

I agree with your comments, but I think the quotes speak for themselves, without the extra comments. I mean, EVERYONE knows this guy was a nut, you don't need to add extra comments to prove this. Also the tone, is not fitting for an encyclopedia.

futurebird 06:45, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] vandalism warning -- level 4

This is the only warning you will receive. If you vandalize Wikipedia once again, as you did to Matthew F. Hale, you will be blocked. William Ackerman 22:01, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Welcome, and thank you for adding your humour to Wikipedia. However, the articles are meant to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Admiral Ackbar. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write whatever you want (as long as it's not offensive). You might also want to check out Wikipedia:Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense. -- GJD 19:45, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] An Automated Message from HagermanBot

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 20:50, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Neutrality (in Fuck World Trade)

Please maintain neutrality. No one appreciates you calling people "assholes." Thanks. Cheeser1 20:55, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism warning

This is for the edit you did to Ian Stuart Donaldson:

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Spylab 23:34, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

thats what your mom said.

[edit] Recent edit

Thank you for experimenting with the page Bell hooks on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Postoak 05:05, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No Doubt

I've reverted your edit to the No Doubt article. Note that we can't use a promotional picture of the band for copyright reasons. ShadowHalo 23:15, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.
Regarding the image, there is no email address available. There is none listed on the website, and Interscope Records' website specifically states that they ignore any requests for pictures. If you can find a free image that better illustrates the band, though, feel free to upload and add it. ShadowHalo 23:52, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
The reason you got a two-sentence reply was because, simply put, what you suggest is very clearly not acceptable under Wikipedia's copyright policy. Content on Wikipedia needs to be reusable by others, so a free image will be used whenever available. If you disagree with this policy, you can bring it up at Wikipedia talk:Fair use, though this discussion has happened hundreds of times and is very unlikely to change. ShadowHalo 01:26, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
I've reverted your removal of the image again. I've told you that if you have a better free image, please feel free to upload it to replace the one that's there. But until then, having an image is preferable to not having any. ShadowHalo 00:44, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Block

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 48 hours as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. (This is in reference to this disruptive edit.) ShadowHalo 00:56, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
