Andrew Considine (born April 1, 1987 in Aberdeen) is a Scottish football central defender currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen Football Club. Considine made his professional debut in May 2004 in a 2-1 defeat to Dundee and has gone to make numerous appearances in the Aberdeen first team.
A composed left-footer on the ball, he is touted by fans and Aberdeen technical staff alike as being a bright prospect for the future of the club, although his defensive ability is questionable. This has been attributed to a lack of experience and continues to improve, however.
Andrew is the son of former Aberdeen defender Doug Considine.
Andrew Considine scored his first goals for Aberdeen against St. Mirren on January 27, 2007.
