"Another Simpsons Clip Show" is the third episode of The Simpsons' sixth season, which originally aired September 25, 1994. It was written by Jon Vitti (who was credited as Penny Wise), and directed by David Silverman.

Marge is reading The Bridges of Madison County one night and wakes up Homer to ask if he thinks the romance has gone out of their marriage. He grumbles and throws the book into a fireplace which has suddenly appeared in the bedroom. Marge grumbles back and goes back to sleep.
In the morning, Marge gets the family together to discuss romance, but they can only come up with vignettes from their failed relationships (and in the parents' case, near-extramarital paramours) in the form of clips from previous episodes. However, Homer saves the day when he brings up how he and Marge got together (in clips from the second season episode "The Way We Was"). Ultimately, the kids don't care and end up watching Itchy & Scratchy while Homer and Marge share another special moment.

- The episode was generally forced to be produced by 20th Century Fox who wanted another episode; the credited writer Penny Wise (who was actually Jon Vitti) pokes fun at this (from the phrase "Penny wise, pound foolish"). "Mrs. Wise" would be credited as writing a future clip show, "The Simpsons 138th Episode Spectacular", would credit the director as "Pound Foolish", implying a poke at FOX.
- Many members of the staff have said that this episode only has 1/3 of new animation.
- The blackboard and couch gags are from another episode, and there is a lot of recycled animation instead of new animation throughout the episode, all taking the idea of being a clip show to the extreme.
- The magazine that Lisa holds up at the end of the episode is called Non-Threatening Boys (from "Radio Bart").
- Reference is made to this episode to in Arab Strap's song 'The First Big Weekend', described as "a really good episode about love always ending in tragedy, except of course for Marge and Homer".
- This episode was put together very quickly (note that the production code for this episode is 2F33, the last in the 2F series, yet it aired before any others in this series did), and it is rumoured that the production code in the end credits was originally erroneously listed. On the lone network airing of this episode, the first 3 looks somewhat out of place compared to the other characters; in syndication and the season 6 DVD boxset, the second 3 appears out of place.

- "Marge Gets a Job": Smithers dreams about Mr. Burns flying in through the window.

- "I Love Lisa": Lisa explains Ralph Wiggum's crush on her.
- "New Kid on the Block": Bart explains his crush on Laura Powers.
- "Black Widower": Sideshow Bob rubbing Selma's feet, muttering, "Soon I will kill you."
- "Lady Bouvier's Lover": Grampa runs in on Mrs. Bouvier's and Mr. Burns' wedding.
- "The Way We Was": Homer finally finds a story about love that doesn't end in heartbreak: how he began his relationship with Marge.
- Montage of Homer and Marge kissing: "Homer's Night Out", "Bart Gets Hit by a Car", "Simpson and Delilah", "I Married Marge" (two clips from this episode), "A Streetcar Named Marge"
- "One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish" - many of the scenes of the Simpsons eating are taken from the episode's dinner table scene with new dialogue added in.
- "Krusty Gets Busted" - The scene of the Simpson kids watching Itchy and Scratchy at the beginning is taken from this episode.
