Australia airs the show every Monday night at 8.30pm on Seven.

Hong Kong TVB Pearl aired its season 1 from 12 May 2005 to 13 October 2005 and season 2 from 20 April 2006 to 28 September 2006 every Thursday night at 10:35pm - 11:30 pm. [1] [2]

Ireland airs the show every Tuesday night at 10.00pm on RTÈ One and repeats the same episode every Friday night at 11.15pm

UK broadcaster Channel 4 offers 5 or more chances to watch the show 4 of which are on E4. As of February 2007 E4 have began to show Season One replays. Due to the late night/very early morning [2.00am-5.00am] time that broadcasts are shown these showings tend to have low viewing firgures. Currently Channel 4 airs the show every Wednesday between 10.00pm-11.00pm and the next episode on E4, the channels primary digital channel, after 11.00pm.
E4 Schedule looks a little like this (at the moment) Tuesday 3.05am-3.50am (an old repeat) Wednesday 11pm-12.00am (new unseen season 3 episode) Thursday 12.00am-1.00am (same as 11pm but on a 1 hour timeshift channel as the rest of the showings are) Thursday 3.35am-4.20am (an old Season 1 repeat) Saturday 3.30am-4.15am (an old season 1 repeat) Every other Saturday 9.00pm-12.00am (Season 3 recaps) Sunday 10pm-11.00pm (as Wednesday 11pm and/or other Saturday 11pm)

The show is broadcast by ABC with reruns on Lifetime Television.

In the UK companies 4OD (on-demand services from Channel 4) and Virgin Media have signed a deal with ABC which allowed viewers to watch Desperate Housewives on-demand, at a cost of 99p an episode. This includes Season 1 has been available since late 2006 and later right through to Season 2. Season 3 is currently being added as each episode goes on-air.
iTunes also has a deal with ABC which authorises the company to sell episodes on their platform. Currently, iTunes charges US customers $1.99 per episode.
