Chesterfield is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It is a marginal seat between the Liberal Democrats and Labour.

It includes most of the town of Chesterfield and neighbours the Bolsover and North East Derbyshire constituencies.

The constituency was long a Labour stronghold, but following Tony Benn stepping down, surprised many when it became the Liberal Democrats' first seat in the East Midlands.
